Insol aims to offer new and innovative technologies and solutions in all industries mainly in the fields of environmental preservation and improvement technologies as well as energy and information technologies.

We believe that innovative ideas and new solutions will result in a more effective life, thus increase the quality of living. We are ripening innovative ideas with engineering works, and turning them into commercial products and services.

In addition to turning innovative ideas into solutions, we are also acting like a technology transfer center, venturing into internal and external collaborations, and enabling the use of existing solutions also in new fields.

Currently we are working on two projects. The first one is an education project called Daphne (Digital Academic Platform of Homework and e-book). Daphne is a software which saves time for both the student and the teacher, and facilitates learning. With this software, the student can do his or her homework at any time and anywhere. Furthermore, he or she can take assignments or the tests given by private courses via this system. The system enables the student and the teacher to monitor the situation on the spot, and ensures a more effective learning.

Another project that we are working on is the Paraplegic Trousers project, aiming to facilitate the lives of people with walking disability and enable them to walk again. This project, which is also named as "external skeleton", has various examples in the world. Some of them are the products developed for the defense industry, and the others for walking disability.

One drawback of these products is their high cost due to the components they employ. However we are, with an innovative approach, working on a prototype which would cover the user?s needs during the entire day at a price which is accessible by every person in need. We are conducting these studies via our venture Konsol Ar-Ge ve Teknoloji A.Ş. (Konsol R&D and Technology Inc.) at Hacettepe Teknokent.
